Monique McGlockton began her career as a writer. Young, gifted and intuitive, she was eager to learn more. Attending undergraduate studies, she became excited about literary works as she pursued additional research and training in education. Energized and enthused to place her imaginative and creative expressions on paper, Monique entered a film program in Central Florida, like a still life painting; she could envision her future breaking ground. Captivated to challenge the world of filmmaking and writing, new beginnings began to look brighter for Monique.
After graduating from the film program, she was an intern for cable access television. Where she wrote and directed a PSA series on adolescent abuse and neglect, also earning credits for producing television programming on the east and west coast. Monique has written for children productions; The NoHo Arts Society Summer Theatre, Theater Arts Program Youth Theater in the Park, Toluca Lake, California and Girl’s Incorporated, Pinellas County, Florida.
Monique has extensive talent in pre to post production for television and film projects. She has worked as a consultant with individuals and companies on ways to get started in the film business in GA and other surrounding states. In addition, she has combined her skills in film development, and various departments in production, as well as breaking ground in the field of securing finances on independent projects. Monique looks forward to producing more projects she has written, and the opportunity to create amazing content with mind-blowing characters.
